Poor start with a receptionist who simply refused to give us a second plastic keycard even though there were two of us. When we got into the rom, the balcony door would not lock and although two maintenance guys came round and identified the problem, they didn't return the next day to fix it (as they had said they would). What none of the pictures show is that the hotel is just above the main highway and so there is lots of traffic noise and also a fair amount of pollution. Rather than having a garafon water dispenser, where guests can help themselves (which a cheap hostel in town offer), they put two small purified water bottles in the room each day. It is neither enough nor environmentally friendly.
Positives are:
decent breakfast served by friendly staff, the view, the size of the room, a coffee machine and the pool, which is a decent length for a proper swim (quite unusual for hotels)
We got a half price rate so I was okay with the shortfalls, but if I had paid full price I would have considered moving.
Due to the way that Expedia weights the scoring towards positives, I have rated this badly to properly reflect the shortcomings.
