Nightmare fraudulent property
We arrived last night at the house and there were insects, it smelled of urine in the house, the lights in the kitchen didn’t work. The host has designated 2 spaces for parking for our unit. We woke up the next morning and someone who didn’t have the right to be parked behind us had parked us in. When we asked the vrbo host to do something about it she asked us to knock on strangers doors to see whose it was. We were uncomfortable with that option as we didn’t know whose it was and it was early in the morning. The host came to the unit and began yelling and was extremely hostile. After we had the issue resolved, the door lock no longer worked and we couldn’t secure our unit to leave. We had to leave because the safety of our persons and property was not secure. The property is in disrepair and should not be on the rental market in my opinion.
