Super clean room, I received an unexpected upgrade and it really was superb. Kitchen very well fitted out with everything you might need. The location is excellent and the property manager amazing. Quick with replies and I didn’t feel like anything was too much trouble. The bed was so comfy and the pillows are the best I have ever slept on! The cleanliness throughout the property was fabulous. All in all a perfect 10/10 stay. Thank you

Location was excellent! So close to city centre, restaurants, Bristol Beacon etc The lady on reception struggled to understand us when we asked about the car parking and if we had paid prior to arrival. Her colleague JJ sf to help her out. Room smelt of fish when we first arrived so we went to Primark and bought a room freshener which helped (we didn't report it as only there one night, a couple in front of us at reception when we were checking out were asking to move to a different room as their current room had a bad smell to it). The room itself was dark and dingy. However the beds were comfy and we slept well. The window opened just over a cm and was dirty and run down. The bathroom was mainly clean apart from where the screen joined the bath, it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The breakfast was not worth what we paid for it, average at best, fruit platter didn't get replenished and looked as though it had been out for a while and hot food just tasted bog standard. Car parking is very expensive at £19 and more than we were expecting as on Expedia who we booked through, says it's £15 for 24 hours and we felt that was expensive as the spaces are very tight although having parking opposite the hotel was very useful. One of the lifts was out of order although there was no sign to say so, they were extremely small and slow so it felt like you waited ages for it to arrive. Overall, we felt that the room and food was very expensive for what we expected and paid for.

Perfect location, easy to get to via car with ample parking. Hotel was VERY nice with really polite and helpful staff, I’d highly recommend and stay again!

Upon arrival the room was relatively clean and straightened out nicely. Decorated to an OK standard. However, the room itself was absolutely sweltering and could've done with a fan or a portable air conditioning unit. I had to open both the windows wide to let some cool air in.....which unfortunately let the screaming and shouting from outside in too. But hey, I've booked something in the heart of student land so that's sort of on me as well! As far as cleanliness goes....look a little closer you'll see things aren't so great and definitely lacks attention to detail in that are. Not the worst but certainly not the best. It looks like shower gel, handwash and shampoo were provided once upon a time but now all that remain are empty containers. This is such a basic thing so either do it or don't. Kitchenette area was reasonably clean with utensils, plates bowls and a dishwasher provided. Overall, it was OK but could do better. It seems like somebody has lost interest in it!

Friendly and helpful, hardworking staff in all areas. After a long journey to Bristol, the reception staff allowed us to access our room a good hour or so earlier then expected. Thank you so much. Responded to our requests for extra milk sachets promptly too. Very spacious, spotlessly clean deluxe double room on the 3rd floor. Comfortable bed with lovely Irish toiletries, very large fluffy towels, bottles of water, replenished daily, good food choices, reasonably priced and good beer too. Our 1st visit to Bristol, won't be our last and would be very happy to stay here again due to the comfort and service received. Liked being in the Old City area with shops, bars, historic buildings close by.
