Ogmore Castle Tours

This property served our needs well and we appreciated the close proximity to the Castle and other sights. We were in the upper unit, the guests in the lower unit did mention that the sounds from above carried through the floor making it quite noisy. If you have the option, choose the top floor.

Check in was ok, the room was cold, the tv couldn’t pick up any normal tv channels, the shower was filthy but that’s probably due to the lack of hot water, my wife and myself were not able to use the shower and when I complained to the staff on front desk I was told “yeah it’s probably because we’ve got a lot of guests tonight” and assured me there would be hot water in the morning, there wasn’t! Again I complained and the girl at the front desk just wasn’t interested or concerned, no apology or sympathy to be honest she was very rude but probably used to complaints . I was told the management would contact me but I haven’t heard anything! Please do yourself a favour and DON’T book this place.
