“This cabin was a perfect fit for our family of five and our dog. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was a highlight of our stay. The location made it easy to get on the snowmobile trails, and the hosts were wonderful to work with and very responsive.”

“We liked the property and the cabin was fine. Management was not available and there was no communication. The grounds were in need of up keep. The weather was tremendous. All in all we had a good stay because we are simple folks that know how to enjoy ourselves.”

“Arrival was rough: the address listed on VRBO was wrong, leading us to the neighboring property to the north (which has two cabins) at 11pm. I walked into one before realizing it wasn't ours. The property manager was nice and called back, but didn't realize the address was wrong. He guided us by phone through spotty cell service to the correct house to the south (actual address 8696), which was hard to find in the dark due to a split driveway. There were only 4 towels for an 12-person property,...

“We were provided zero communication with the check in process until we reached out, still had to clarify which cabin we were in. Owners were kind enough to allow us to check in early to attend family functions. TV did not work, was not provided wash cloths, no oven mitts provided, and cobwebs galore over the entire walls. Warm water in the shower ran out after 10 mins.
Appreciate providing a coffee maker, utensils, plates, and working appliances, a/c, heat, bedding, pillows, and decent space.”

“Excellent for a short fishing trip or short stay! Smaller rooms without all the frills. Very clean and easy process to check in and out. Cost was acceptable for the value. If you are looking for a basic stay this is it. Excellent value and location for anyone who’s experiencing the outdoors of the Northwoods. ”

“The location is nice and the view is lovely. Steep stairs to the water. Carpet (white) was quite dirty. Water was not potable but bottled water was provided. Minor issues like faucet handles were broken and lights burned out should have been attended to. Many windows couldn’t be opened. The boat in the slip had mechanical issues so not rentable. It was a nice enough place but over priced. That said our family still had a good time. The host was very friendly and accommodating.”

“Stayed in this cabin for three nights with my 12 year old dog for a little R & R. I can't say enough great things about this cabin. It was super cute, clean with everything I needed. The wooded area on Hayward Lake felt very private even though it was close to town. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Walking/biking path ran along the edge of the property. Bed was very comfortable. Heat and ac in the cabin with easy to use instructions. Check in and out process was easy. Great...
