Beatiful location, awesome cabin. Super clean, only downfall was the road to get to the cabin but it was only one mile long. Great communication and the place was phenomenal.

Beautiful and Spacious!
This is our second time staying in the cabin and we love it! There were 11 of us and we had plenty sleeping and move around space. The scenic views are great and the screened in porch is wonderful. It is close to everything we wanted to do on river.

Amazing place.
This property is amazing. The beds are super comfortable, black out curtains are a great touch and the screened porch is awesome. House is well stocked and even had a candy bar! Also, the owner was amazing to work with and allowed us to check in a little early so we could still get to our concert on time. We’ve stayed at a lot of nightly rentals and this place tops the list.

Perfect Getaway!
This cabin was great! It was a short drive from the Illinois River where we floated one day. The house was homey and comfortable with all the accommodations we could possibly need. The property owners were easy to get in contact with and responsive to every question. I would love to go back and take more family and friends! I would 100% recommend staying here.

Amazing cabin!
We are a family of seven, this place was big enough for us and then some, private area for you and your kids to safely roam around. Only thing I would suggest for you to bring is outside fire wood. It rained a little before and during so outside firewood was a little damp. But we knew that going in so wasn’ta big deal. Cabin itself was beautiful! Enough room and enough things to keep everyone entertained. We wish we would’ve stayed longer! Pond was a lot of fun to fish in and the kids loved it. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much for an a awesome family vacation!

This is THE ONE! What an AMAZING property! Pictures don't do it justice.
If you are considering staying at this property...BOOK IT! It's so beautiful and peaceful. The home is spacious and lovely, equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved the pond, which has a fountain that has a relaxing sound like rain. We also thoroughly enjoyed the firepit, with lots of seating, and the incredible screened in porch (great for quiet morning breakfasts). The property has a lot of space and plenty of cozy spots to unwind. The owners could not have been more gracious and sweet. They are blessed to own such a magnificent home and we are so thankful that they shared it with us. We're thinking annual retreat to Hulbert, OK! Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Peterson. We loved the Peterson Ranch!

The place was ok. it is the hunting and gathering cabin for the owners. It is 45 plus minutes to the Ft Gibson Lake, if no rain. The property is 1.5 miles off of paved roads and with a boat, the turn into the property through the gate is very tight. The aggregate on the 1.5 mile gravel road is large and sharp....I had two boat trailer flats while out there, but, I run a lower profile tire on my boat trailer that are not made to run on sharp large aggregate. Bring bottled water. Bring your own coffee maker. There are some young adults back in there that do hoop and howler a bit as they drive by. Nice setting back in there.

We have stayed at a lot of vacation homes and this is one of our favorite. Beautiful property that has everything you need with kind and helpful homeowners. We got away from the busyness and spent five days fishing at the pond, playing in the nearby creek, playing games on the back porch, exploring the property, and spending time together. I’d highly recommend it as I don’t think the photos do it justice.

Wonderful getaway!
We had a small family gathering and the property was perfect for all ages! It’s a great secluded location but still not too far from the creek, river, or town. The owner was also great to communicate with when I had questions. We will be back and would definitely recommend!
