This is a great option if you are wanting close proximity to River Street. There is plenty of restaurants and shops. This property does not have a pool or restaurant on site, they do have a bar on the property. I liked the managers reception on the week days starting at 5:30 pm until 7 pm. Which is free with your stay. There is parking available for a price. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything was fine, room was clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We would have preferred our room being closer to the main hotel. Valet parking was very expensive— $52 per day plus a requested/expected tip.

Walkable property, variety of restaurants

The staff at the planters Inn was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and kind offering suggestions and great conversation. During the week they offer a happy hour with a piano player and we thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this. Unfortunately, the age of this hotel and the lack of upkeep is really starting to show. The paint is peeling badly in the rooms, the bathroom ceiling, just everywhere in the room. Our bed was very uncomfortable and they’re in need of new towels badly. How
