"We got a room with a loft which had two singles for the kids. They loved it. However, I was unsure about the safety of the arrangement - son had to be convinced not to leap off the balcony onto the double bed downstairs. Also, the stairs up to the loft had a weird gap between the stairs and the wall which was the perfect size to put a foot down and potentially break a leg in the night. So low marks for safety. But the amenities were good and location close to walk to shops and restaurants and the rooms and grounds were clean, so high marks elsewhere. "

"Great Parking, room service not so good, new towels, toilet paper etc just left on the dining table, bed not made, dishes not done. You pay a lot of money for these simple things."

"The bach was very clean and well equiped.We did not need the fire, but if we had it was set and ready to light on our arrival.There were plenty of heaters to keep us warm for the cool evenings.Also plenty of warm blankets and duvets.The host Chris is very communicative and friendly.The location is ideal with lovely views of the river, and has easy access to walking tracks.Loved how this place has kept lots of its original character and been beautifully maintained."

"Lovely mountain lodge feel to the place. Cozy bar area and dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Rooms are not fancy, more basic, but a great stay overall. "

"This was our second stay at this property. As last time, the bach is super-clean, warm and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. There's off-street parking, the area is nice and quiet and the cabin is perfect for our oldest teen. Such a pretty location, we love the lake front and wee marina. The corner shop has great takeaways and anything you need to top up on. Grant and Tarsha are lovely to deal with. We'll definitely be back!"
