Wir waren zu Viert, sodass eine Person auf einer Matratze im Wohnbereich schlafen musste, das sollte man sich also überlegen, aber das war auch so im Inserat angegeben. Durch den Gastgeber wurden wir sehr nett begrüßt, er hat uns auch gute Tipps zur Urlaubsgestaltung gegeben und wäre bei Fragen auch stets erreichbar gewesen. "We loved it, very cozy and so easy to walk all over Hoorn. One comment: I am very short (150cm) and everything was too high for me to reach: the kitchen shelf, the bathroom hooks, the closet rack, the vanity mirror, etc. May i suggest that you provide a “grabber” to facilitate hanging up towels, putting dishes away, etc, for us vertically challenged guests? We loved our stay here at Huysjes Rive, and will happily refer your tiny home to friends! Bobbie and Jim"

"The rental is attached to the main house and is truly wonderful. Beautiful sunsets and plenty of room for everyone. We came with 10 people and were comfortable. The bedroom downstairs was perfect for us and the bed was nice and hard(I don’t like a super soft bed). There were all kinds of seasonings and drinks in the fridge for the folks who like to cook. It’s close to the Zaanse Schans and very close to just about everything. We were all very pleased."

"Die Sauberkeit des Ferienhauses ließ zu wünschen übrig, sonst war das Haus schön. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, sprach aber kein deutsch. Wir hatten um einen Late Check out gebeten, dieses war nur für maximal 2 stunden möglich und sollte 35,- € kosten!!! Wir sind daher einen Tag früher abgereist um uns den Stress am frühen Morgen zu ersparen!"

"Renting the property was quick and straightforward. Good communication with the owner. However, on arrival the property especially the upstairs rooms were very dusty I asked for mop which was provided but was unable to used due to the complicated process of putting the mop together. Overall, we didn't have much experience at the amenities bcos we were out most times. But I would definitely go back to explore the place more."
