"Beautiful building & lovely garden. Our room was huge & very nice. The staff were very helpful. The reason this is not “excellent”overall is that we were there on a Sunday & the restaurant is closed. That was not a major problem but you do have to drive somewhere for dinner & we’d been in the car all day. We were directed to the nearby coast & it was lovely. But when we returned about 8pm thinking we’d have a drink in the sun in the garden, so the driver could enjoy a drink, the bar was also...

"I have been staying here for over forty years. It has been consistently upgraded and is in excellent condition. The service is always friendly and the restaurant is good. It is also closed to the channel crossing which offers convenient stays."

"Lovely stay at this hotel. Chose primarily due to its proximity to Dunkirk Terminal as a stop off on our return to UK. Chateau style was delightful. Welcomed by the receptionist and shown amenities which includes a pool,restaurant and bar. Room was small but clean and nicely decorated. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. I would stay again. "

"Nice hotel, seems well appointed but very poor bath/ shower. Bath felt so flimsy it moved under your feet as you have a shower. Not what I expected in a superior room!!"
