"Expedia told us this was located in Taylor, NE! I is not! It is in Burwell, NE sixteen miles East of Taylor. There is no ice unless you ask for a cup of it. No pool. It did provide the basics."

"We had an outstanding stay at Fisherman’s Retreat in Burwell. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a fishing trip. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out after a long day on the water.The highlight for me was the drive-through garage. Being able to pull my truck and boat straight through without unhooking was a game changer. It made loading gear, charging batteries, and getting an early start each morning incredibly easy. It’s one of the most fisherman-friendly features I’ve seen at a VRBOIf you’re coming to fish Calamus, Sherman, or the surrounding lakes, this is an excellent place to stay. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to the Sandhills. Highly recommended!"
