“The house was very comfortable. We loved the unusual antiques and the Maine focused information. Beds very comfortable and liked the dining room with all the windows. Laurel was a responsive host. ”

“This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby……

“An incredible experience! The Inkwell Suite is such a comfortable, modern, and warm room. Do yourself a favor and book this room!The Tempur-pedic mattress was extremely comfortable. Rental properties can feel like a gamble sometimes with mattress quality, but the owners of the Spofford Lodge spared no expense to furnish their rooms with high quality items. The bathroom is luxurious and spacious! A shower stall and separate bath is so nice! The heated floors and towel rack are such incredible……
