The hotel interior was very tired looking. Gashes in the hallway walls, hallway carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in a while, peeling paint on window sills, water marked furniture, beds were hard. On the positive side the location was good and breakfast ample.
A great hotel. Fabulous location, close to restaurants, shops and the port. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast

It was comfortable, very dated and tired, but fairly clean. Staff was wonderful and breakfast was great. Location is very convenient and easy to get to equidistant to many attractions. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Millenium! Although a bit outdated, and the wear and tear is present, it didn’t bother us. The location is perfect, breakfast was great and we had a good time! Would stay again.
Overall: amazing location, good rooms and great service. What I loved especially about this hotel is it’s a family run type property with focus on service and personal touch. Would definitely stay here again.
Location: Karl Johans gate and attractions are 5-7 minutes walk away including shopping and dining. One block walk to tram that can take you to all locations within downtown Oslo like Aker Brygge and even vigeland sculpture park.
Rooms: we rented the family room for 4 of us and it was spacious enough. Bathroom could use some updating but overall satisfactory.
Breakfast: this is excellent with variety of choices and hot well prepared food. If you ask for vegetarian or allergy they will suggest options or make specific for you.
Characterful hotel in a great location. Slightly disappointed that the room was not cleaned at all during my 4 night stay (I could have requested it but did not remember at the right time).
Breakfast area a little on the small side so rather chaotic when busy but good selection of food
Very loud area - a LOT of street noise, dated, bathroom smelled moldy, no refrigerator, asked for luggage rack, tight space, elevator doors were slamming into people. Pictures online were not representative of hotel. Staff were nice and breakfast was good!
The hotel's location is fantastic. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
The room is small-ish but it isn’t bad. The room is an old style look.
The staff were helpful and accommodating.
Breakfast has everything you need, buts its has an hectic atmosphere. There is no room, to many people.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, transport options and the waterfront. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They kindly let us check in early which was much appreciated. The breakfast is good. The low stars for the property condition are because we had some issues with the room locks. On one occasion we could not get out of the room which was quite disturbing.
Great location, walking distance to everything in the city. The tram and bus stops are literally one street away, so super convenient. Can take a direct train from the airport to the hotel and change over in tram/bus.
Breakfast is excellent! great options, the quinoa salad was amazing! Lots of variety to choose from. everything is replinished, so nothing runs out.
Rooms are a bit cozy but alright. We had a room with the large balcony- need to climb up couple of steps to get into it! They are a bit dated but its exactly what you see on the website, so no surprises.
The staff are helpful and polite. We had messaged earlier to say we would be arriving early and inquired if we could leave our luggage. They actually had our room ready!
Definitely recommend if you want to do a lot of sightseeing and want good breakfast options, totally worth the money.
Cheap option but don’t expect much. The hotel it’s literally looking like from the first millenium: old, run down. It’s okay for the price and location but I think the photos show the place much better than it actually is. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was worth it. I would totally recommended if you’re traveling on a budget and dont care much about how the place looks like. The terrace was nice but with -16 C weather wasn’t really enjoyable to spend time on it.
Hotel was in a good location. Easy to walk most places.
Hotel is tired, in need of some TLC to fix some of the bumps, dents and chips in the paintwork and walls.
The bed was comfortable and having windows that open is always a bonus.
The carpets of the corridors and stairs were not clean and did not appear to have been vacuumed in the time we were there.
Breakfast served a good selection, but much of the food designated as hot was in fact tepid or cold.
A little confused by the hotel profile photo as it's a picture of the aker brygen museum at sunset not of the hotel. Booked a queen loft room but it was too small, had no wardrobe and no kettle.asked to move to a double room and it was sorted straight away no problem by kind helpful receptionist and was a much better room. Be mindful Rooms are warm and no air con so had to open window. Breakfast was nice lots of choice, gets busy at peak times. Shop across the road, public transport close and metro station next block. Would love to stay again at millennium if visiting Oslo
