Nothing very special. The usual. The breakfast was pretty disappointing!

This is an extremely well-run hotel. The rooms are modern and spotless. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is right in the middle of Cornell University so you feel immersed in the campus. If you reserve a view room, you'll get a great view of the campus. I would go back there in a heartbeat. And don't forget to walk down to Collegetown Bagels -- the food there is fantastic (way more than just bagels).

Travel to Ithaca a couple times a year and usually stay in one of the chain hotels in the city. But this most recent trip, I chose this lovely inn, as all of the usual spots were either booked or were priced out of my range for the level of accommodations. And my wife and I enjoyed our time very much.. Comfortable and charming. Definitely recommend it and hope to return. The Dempsey Suite was a great choice.

The Inn was quiet, well kept, and comfortable. The only real restaurant in town belongs to the Inn. Expensive. Service decent. Food unimaginative. There is a small deli. Offerings are limited and a bit pricey. One bar in town. That’s it. No drugstore, grocery store, or any other mercantile establishments. Union Springs is 8 miles up the road. There is a spa (expensive). All in all, a quiet retreat for a few days for an older crowd.

The hotel was conveniently located and very clean. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Because of the weather and downpours, we decided to eat in at Monks- and the service was phenomenal as well as the food! Definitely glad we stayed.
