Unfortunately, you supplied a phone number which did not work, did not read or respond to our messages, or to those sent by Expedia. We are quite clear before you book, that we do not offer 24 hour Reception. It is the responsibility of the guest to inform the hotel, if you are going to arrive later than 9pm, when our Reception closes. You did not. As no one was able to contact you, we sent, via Expedia, instructions to self check in. Regrettably, you did not read these instructions, nor call our emergency number, nor contact Expedia. We're sorry that you have chosen to review so terribly, when the burden of responsibility lies entirely with you.We trust that the rest of your trip will be as fulfilling, and enjoyable as you deserve.Regards

We're disappointed you didn't enjoy your stay. As you have reviewed anonymously we can't comment on your room, but your scores are significantly lower than our average, so we will take them with a grain of salt.It is naive in the extreme for a traveller to come to a city, the third most visited in the country, with 10's of thousands of visitors annually and expect silence. Our windows are double glazed, and were replaced last year. So our rooms are as quiet as we can make them. We make no secret of the fact that Abingdon Rd is a main thoroughfare into Oxford, our prices reflect this.Regards
