“This was a 3 night stay at Eagles Nest. We arrived around 5:00pm. Noticed A/C not blowing. Text host Judy. Shane came out within 15 minutes. He called Diamond City A/C company and their Techs stayed until repaired. We want to thank them for staying very late (after 10:00pm) and repairing the unit. Both were very professional. Host Judy did offer another cabin for us to use for that night if needed. Cabin was very clean and had a great layout. We had 4 adults and 4 dogs (2 large and 2 small)....

“We had a wonderful stay at our cabin! It was set up so nice and clean. The pictures of the cabin on the website are exactly as it was! Very organized they thought of everything! We were visiting the Crater of diamonds (we didn’t find any) but had a wonderful time. The cabin even had equipment you could borrow to take with you to hunt for diamonds! The area was so peaceful! “Property was nice, met all our needs. The river was a short walk away from our cabin. I had originally thought the river was just in front and could be viewed from the porches, but it was not. Visitors might want to be prepared to do some meals at the cabin since there are not a lot of places to eat in the immediate area. The kitchen was well equipped except for linens. Overall, we loved our trip and already planning a return trip. ”

“An excellent stay! The pictures don't do this place justice. It's roomy and lots of places to spread out. The kitchen island even has 2 trash pull outs! My family had a great time and we loved that how there were toys/supplies for everyone even the baby (aka, high chair/pack-n-play). The house did have an echo, but we started talking about finding time to come back again while there. ”

The owner was so nice and was easy to reach if we needed anything. Even before we arrived I messaged him with a few questions and he responded immediately. This was the perfect place for a family. “We have stayed at this location in a different cabin and we have really enjoyed the intimate setting, great river access, kids love seeing all the deer and fireflies and a perfect place for a fire, s'mores and enjoying the cool evenings and mornings on the great covered porch.”
