If you want peace and quiet, don’t stay here. If you want good value in the middle of the party with good facilities and excellent cleanliness, this is the option for you. Under 30’s will love it. In all honesty, I wouldn’t stay here again because of the party vibe but I’m in my 40’s! We had 2 negatives, coffee and tea didn’t get replenished in the room without asking. Could’ve just been our housekeeper? And it is not sound proof as mentioned on the site, you WILL hear noise! Positives, location, cleanliness (shower was spotless when we arrived), roof top pool and staff in general really nice.

Clean room/Friendly Staff/Pleasant stay. We really enjoyed our stay at the Howard Hotel in Sliema. The complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. A special mention to the jolly gentleman who ran the breakfast area — he worked hard to keep everyone happy and well looked after. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was superb. Our room was on the small side and could have done with a little fresh paint in places, but overall it was comfortable and perfectly fine. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is huge but still unfinished. There is still building work but this didn’t bother us. The room was clean and very little noise can be heard from outside so sound proof but not totally. When we arrived, one lift wasn’t working but this was immediately rectified once they realised there was a problem. One thing we gave 5 stars for was the staff. We requested to leave our luggage with them prior to our stay and our request was accommodated. Gio in reception showed us where we could leave our suitcases and he was also the one who checked us out afterwards. The process was very quick and efficient. It was appreciated as we had a very early flight and needed to rush to the airport. There was a minor issue with the shower screen leaking but it didn’t bother us, we just requested extra bath mats to soak up the water. Only issue for us was asking for a deposit and checking the room for any damage upon check out. It is refundable ( our room was ok so hopefully we will get the money back) but we feel this is quite a dated practice. However if the hotel has had issues of guests trashing the place in the past, I totally understand why they would do this. It just means extra time spent during check out. We have stayed in many hotels and can’t remember the last time a hotel checked the room before letting you check out. It just seemed like a very old practice but as I said, I can understand the reason for it.
