“This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. If we ever go back to……

“O quarto é excelente. A vista esplêndida. O atendimento um primor. Só há alguns pormenores que precisam ser revistos. As toalhas estavam manchadas e ao frequentar o salão de jogos, perdemos 1 euro, pois o brinquedo não funcionou. É um hotel muito barulhento na zona dos restaurantes. Um hotel voltado para famílias com crianças. ”

“O Hotel Beleza Serra nada fica a dever ao seu nome. Situado na zona baixa, junto à albufeira, junto à estrada nacional que nos leva ao Gerês. O hotel, com uma decoração que está muito bem conseguida e com elevado nível de conforto, conduz-nos facilmente ao relax, após as possíveis actividades que se podem praticar pela serra e na àgua da albufeira. “This property is the perfect place to unwind and relax. We especially enjoyed the staff who were so helpful in planning our tour, scheduling taxis and answering all our questions. Dine here too, the food is excellent!”

“Lovely comfortable stay. Although the weather was not great, we were warm and comfortable in a lovely T2 house with modern, tasteful interior. Communication from host was excellent. Our dog loved it too. Highly recommended. ”

“A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay”

“Positive. - Staff when we arrived. Very nice. Great explanations. Good recommendations for restaurant. - breakfast is inclused. Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. ”

“Optima acomodação , super limpa e perfumada. Muito bem localizada em pleno centro de Mondim de Bastos, com um excelente pequeno almoço ! Anfitrião bastante simpático, conhecedor dos encantos circundantes que amavelmente nos forneceu algumas dicas muito úteis! Recomendo vivamente!! Referência ao alojamento em tempo de covid 19 , tudo bastante limpo e cuidadoso, todos com uso de máscara o que nos deixou super tranquilos. Recomendamos está habitação mesmo em tempo de pandemia ! ”

“Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön, ein abgelegener Ort um richtig entspannen zu können, die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Das Appartement war sauber, es hatte alles was man brauchte und der Aussenpool war schön mit Liegen und Sonnenschirme. ”

She doesn’t speak English, but between a little Spanish on our part and sign language, it was a wonderful experience. We learned a little Portuguese! Would stay again if ever in the area.”
