“My husband and I have family in the region and we always love to stay here. They are always very welcoming and the hotel is very comfortable.”

“Beautiful property overall, but unfortunately the room needs some attention. The bathroom and the area under the kitchen sink had a strong mould smell, and there was visible black mould on the shower caulking and even around the bathroom towel hook. The shower also did not drain properly, which caused water to back up onto the bathroom floor. The host provided restaurant recommendations, which was appreciated, but unfortunately all of the places suggested were closed during our stay. Breakfast……

“Hotel muito bem localizado. Staff muito atencioso. PA com horário alargado até 10h30, com variedade de produtos. O sumo de laranja se fosse natural real uma mais valia. O wc estava com 1/2 rolo de papel higiénico e deviam prestar atenção aos pormenores como este. Não conseguimos mudar de canal na tv do quarto. Não sei qual era o problema pois como apenas ficamos 1 noite não constituiu um problema ”

“there was nothing we liked... the foto made one think it was in a green location. it was sqeezed in between other hotels, on a very steep hill, very narrow street reception is in bmt. staff was unfriendly, room was like a cell, window opened untoa roof and walk way, so we could not sleep w. open window... address is wrong, the place is in Geres which is a town 27 km further east, we had to backtrack after we got to the town that is noted on the reservation, which is act. the district……

“Værelset blev gjort rent men håndklæder og brugte glas blev ikke skiftet. En lille ting når ejeren var sød og hjælpsom og udsigten helt perfekt. Stedet er ikke for gangbesværet pga. Højdeforskellen på hotellet og der er ikke elevator. Der er restauranter i nærheden i vila geres . Et dejligt hotel med søde værter.”

“O Hotel Beleza Serra nada fica a dever ao seu nome. Situado na zona baixa, junto à albufeira, junto à estrada nacional que nos leva ao Gerês. O hotel, com uma decoração que está muito bem conseguida e com elevado nível de conforto, conduz-nos facilmente ao relax, após as possíveis actividades que se podem praticar pela serra e na àgua da albufeira. “Positive. - Staff when we arrived. Very nice. Great explanations. Good recommendations for restaurant. - breakfast is inclused. Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. ”

“Rooms were clean, the air conditioner was not "effective", in English, didn't work well. Beautiful location.”

“This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. If we ever go back to……
