“Lovely hotel, very comfortable beds, great service and staff. Breakfast was great also. Great for visiting Messina, close to all attractions including the Duomo. Great theatre across from hotel with free concert and lovely restaurant up the side street next to the theatre. Great view from room, we were able to watch the arrival and departure of many ships including cruise ships and the boat trains.”

“Pros:Antonella and Rosario, our hosts, were super friendly and helpful in settling us into our room, and giving us information about the area. Our room and facilities we could not fault. Location within walking distance to historical area and local restaurants. Parking was relatively easy.
Cons: We checked in on a Saturday and the street noise, that night, until 230am was quite distracting. Sunday night was far better. Left on Monday so cannot comment on weekdays.

“Stayed here for almost two weeks and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Villa Princi was clean, quiet, and really comfortable. Easy to get around and in a great location for exploring both Calabria and Sicily. I actually spent the first 5 days driving around Sicily.
The host was incredibly helpful. She gave me dining tips, pointed me to legit olive oil spots, and had some nice pastries and even some eggs if requested. Breakfast was perfect for me.
This was my home base while I bounced around……
