This condo community is unique to Matagorda as it has a beautiful pool area. Great for families . I have future plans to stay in this condo again for sure."

"The best kept secret in POC. This was our third stay at Sonrise. We love it. It is set up with indoor and outdoor space to accommodate a group of people with 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. It is clean and fully equipped for indoor and outdoor cooking. The outdoor covered patio and shop area are equipped with seating space, ping pong table, disco ball, corn hole and a ice machine. The owner has thought of everything when this place was set up for guests. We will be back!"

"Out of all the Condos available to rent, this one by far is in the best location. End of the street on the corner with the beach trail directly behind the house, and close, easy access to the pond. Anne was fantastic and the house was adorable and spacious. The only bad thing was the swarms of mosquitoes that made it impossible to leave the house without being covered in clothes or bug spray. That being said a local let us know they are not usually that bad and they came after the recent storm....

"The house is gorgeous. New amenities, great location. There are chairs for the beach provided, a bbq pit, fully stocked kitchen and great outdoor space for hanging out. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable beds! Kids room slept 5 kids comfortably. We had little kids and they loved the bunk beds. Loved the everything about this house and since this is an annual family trip for us, we definitely plan to book again."

"This is a nice house with a large area under the house to grill and relax. Plenty of parking across from the house to park my truck and boat. The deck upstairs if nice and the house is nice. Right on the river and backs up to Snappers and close to Waynes bait camp. We will book this location again!"

"I rented this place for the pier, which I thought met all of my qualifications for a perfect fishing pier out into a bay. And it did! Over about a 48 hour period I caught between 30 and 40 speckled trout (about 1/3 on lures under lights, and the rest on live shrimp one afternoon). Unfortunately, they probably averaged about 13 inches, so they all went back in the water. Also maybe a dozen gafftops, about half of them legal. Lotsa fun."
