Paracas National Reservation Tours

We were checking in on September 12. We received a message from the hotel on September 11 that “a guest in the hotel” had broken a pipe and this would “affect” us. When we asked for clarification as to whether they were cancelling the reservation, we received no response so we rebooked another hotel and asked for a refund. The next morning, the day we were to check in, they advised the issue had been resolved and they would not be issuing a refund despite having caused us duress and panic on a morning of our vacation during which we knew we would not have much internet access most of the day. The second hotel honored our request to cancel the reservation after hearing our circumstances. Breakfast furniture movement and food preparation noise started at 5 AM and echoed to our room on the third floor. This was the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Every sound echoed through the building. The central heat comes on in the middle of the night so I woke up sweating. That heat cannot be controlled by the guest. There is a second heater provided in the room. Except for Angelo, the men at the desk are consistently difficult…I could feel them rolling my eyes every time a guest makes any type of request There was a young woman at the desk but she was cut off by one of the difficult men when she tried to respond to a question I had. Angelo was the bright spot in the hotel but we met him on the way out.

Very clean room and comfortable bed, with warm blankets and extra comfy pillows. The staffs are friendly and helpful
