"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing: plenty of food choices and Finnish specialties including the Karelian pie (and veggie option of that even). The hotel is modern, clean and tidy, with maintaining a hint of their prison history. The associated part of the building is almost a community: a gym, a spa, bakery, restaurants, shops and a funicular going downhill to the river. Highly recommended, and definitely will stay...

"A very nice comfortable hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Great shower. The rooftop bar in the evening is a romantic spot to sit and enjoy the views with an excellent cocktail. We had an early train to catch. So they arranged a tax for us and had a free takeaway breakfast for us. Would definitely stay here again."

"It's worth choosing a superior room with aircon when its a hot day. Room was very clean, but we had to ask for towels and coffee (there were none). Spa is very small but the surroundings are great. Vegan options still in a seperate table at breakfast (would be better to put them with other foods). Restaurant a la carte had good pizzas, also vegan."

"Good sized comfortable room. Well appointed and clean. The location and value were excellent. Had to ensure that the room was made up every day as seems common in Finland. Very nice well presented breakfast. Only draw back is the hotel is dog friendly and we were woken up twice by a dog barking continuously on the third floor. We were on the fourth."

It is a great motel only a few steps from the Viking boat, which was so convienent for my disssbled wife, plus it is only a few more steps to Turku Port train platform.
