Grand Hotel du Balcons is a little gem in the Latin Quarter. The staff were all helpful and incredibly friendly. My room was clean and fresh every day. I love this neighborhood because all the things I love to do in Paris are but a short walk away. Plus, a really good breakfast to start the day. Thank you for making this trip so enjoyable and special.

After I paid them for 4 nights , they Charged me full night fare for a late check out. With an empty hotel. No class. Will not use this place again. Absolutely nothing special other than a cool location.

I stayed in a single room so it was really basic, including the bathroom, which was essentially all a wet shower. The location really cannot be beaten, however, and I would stay here again. Safe, clean, friendly enough.

( ) The staff is generally friendly and the location is amazing. ( ) The room size was good, with a common area and a desk. ( ) The location is great, near subway stations, restaurants and shopping. (-) There is an elevator, but is is small, 2-3 people max. You have to leave your key at the front desk before leaving (and better to do so it is large) which gets annoying. (Neutral) Cost is a bit much for what it is, but the great location may offset for some. (-)There is no coffee maker or water kettle to boil water for tea (no tea either), which was an inconvenience as we really enjoy it and saves a trip to a cafe when busy. (-) Decor isn't as nice as hotels nearby.
