Staying in a piece of history

Our stay was great, everything was very accurately advertised. The location in the Marais was by far the most important for us, so having a quaint apartment and sleeping in separate beds was a concession that we were prepared to make. We would stay here again!

Great getaway with 12 year old daughter!

We had a great time staying here! From check in, stay, location-was perfect for me and my daughter to see the city. Public transportation close by to sites. Great food, shopping in this neighborhood. Loved jogging every morning by the Seine. Property was just as posted, very happy. Host very kind and responsive.

Great little place!

This studio was great for my dad and I to stay. Definitely true to size as shown in the photos, and the stairs up are not for the faint of heart (or those with bad knees!). The space was clean and comfortable for what it was, and the metro was less than 10 minutes away which was great.

Great host - terrific location

This property was in a perfect location to allow us to explore Paris for the first time. It is a small, rustic studio apartment, but in a secure building. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay and the host was welcoming and responsive. We were on an extended trip and had heavy suitcases, which were tricky to manoeuvre up four flights of stairs, as there was no elevator. Overall we had a great stay!

Perfect studio in Marais

The studio is located in a quiet, safe totally lovely area of the Marais. It is within walking distance to many museums, metro stops and bus. The studio was optimal for me, I was traveling alone. And could handle the 94 steps! Good exercise. Check in and out were extremely convenient, and it was easy to communicate with host.

Perfect Room in Heart of the 4e

The location was perfect for our walking and metro tours of Paris with many great bars and restaurants nearby. Everything was clean and working well. The window opens to the block's interior, meaning it is quiet day and night. Just be mindful of the 95 steps to get to the room on what we would call in the US the 5th floor.

Unbeatable location

Amazing location! It was my first time in Paris and solo trip and location could not have been better! I walked pretty much everywhere I needed to. Ubers were super cheap cause everything is close to the location. Metro easy too. Surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. Very very safe. Apartment was nice, true description in the page. Saved it in my google maps as I will be staying there if I visit again.

Great location

Loved the location, in the Marias but down a quiet street. The stairs are no joke, especially if you are hauling a lot of luggage, so keep that in mind. The person who met me was very sweet and showed me how everything worked. The place was clean and while small, had everything I needed for my stay. It’s an older building so the stairwell is a little musty, but that’s about the only complaint I have besides the stairs!

great location in a very old building

We learned from a Walking Tour of Marias that this building has the classic red tile flooring, half timber and plaster walls of many of the old buildings in the area. The room worked out fine for us and the location was perfect for exploring Paris. My wife thought the mattress was ok but for me it was too soft. The toilet is a very low flush one. It would have been nice to have two keys for the property in case my wife and I did separate activities.
