the hotel required pay ahead even though there was an option to pay at property and the woman explaining to me i needed to pay before coming was rude. our room smelled like cigarette smoke when you first walked in. the hold of $150 is a lot too.

Stayed here in 2021 and it was really nice so we decided to book it again. It was as nice as I remembered. Very clean rooms and good breakfast. We were going to the Travelers Championship in Cromwell and it was a short drive from there. It's also close to Lake Compounce and Hartford if you are going there for anything. There are two Mini Golf courses nearby, one is practically across the street and one is about a mile away.
