“After 3 nights in the Porcupine Wilderness the Bobcat Cabin was the perfect place to come back to. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Its simplicity and self-reliance makes it the perfect nature getaway. We were there when it rained and the hosts have made it the perfect spot to curl up with a book or take a midday nap. “We had a wonderful family vacation! The hosts, Sandy & Steve were near by to answer any questions and to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed swimming, playing in the sand, the hammocks, the swing, kayaking, canoeing & rowing. We also rented a pontoon and had the whole lake to ourselves, watching for eagles, loons and fish jumping out of the water. Campfires & s'mores, with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. “This is an older property that's well kept up. The main bathroom is large and very nice - great if you have a group of women getting ready at the same time! We didn't go downstairs at all so cannot speak for those amenities but the rest of the house was comfortable. We needed 3 bedrooms so this worked out great for us. ”
