We stayed two weekends, 23rd and 30th
The staff were very good at their job. When we were staying above incredibly volatile and inebriated guests on the first weekend, it was dealt with quickly. Unfortunately the next night another guest set off the fire alarm at 1am.
The second weekend was faultless- thoughtful guests same excellent staff
Clientelle interesting, staff incredibly professional and kind.
Under refurb, so slightly odd vibe, the price was very good because of it.
Close to beautiful countryside, Tors, Buckfast etc
Not into pubs but there is one right next door for those who like pub grub and booze- we didnt try it

Our stay at the Belgrave Sands Hotel was brilliant (as usual). Our rooms were spotless and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
There are not enough superlatives to do justice to this gem of a hotel

Easy parking, a warm welcome by staff willing to find answers to any questions. Lovely warm clean room with ladings of hot water after a long day at work in the area!
Breakfast varied and plentiful to suit all tastes.
