Absolute gem!
We stayed here for a week as a base to explore the local area and it was just perfect for our needs. As described, it is compact but more than adequate for our needs. It's was comfortable, clean and well equipped and David and Christine were very accommodating hosts. There is parking which is a massive bonus in Mousehole and the views from the property to the harbour and out to sea are fantastic. I would definitely recommend this property for a stay, I wouldn't hesitate to go back when I'm in the area again. Thankyou Davis and Christine for a wonderful week. 😁

Lovely Cornish Week
Compact and bijou, what this property lacks in size it makes up with the outstanding views over Mounts Bay. We saw dolphins in the sea near St Clements island which was amazing. Lovely to sit out and watch the world go by. Close to the village centre, it’s in a great location. If staying during high season be sure to book if you want to eat out in the evening. Even though a small cottage, it has everything you need including binoculars for those fabulous views. It’s in easy reach of some brilliant walks - if you like birds and nature there is plenty to see. Recommend Godrevy for Cornish Choughs and seals. Botallack also for great cliff top walks. Many thanks to David and Christine.

In every way , a most comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The location is excellent, being up the hill, just outside the narrow streets of Mousehole in a quiet spot, and a particular advantage is the roomy , private car park facing the property. The cottage is adjacent to the owner's house and has a lovely view out to sea. The cottage is compact, comprising of 3 rooms . Every feature has been carefully thought out to provide for guests' needs. the bed is extremely comfortable; there is plenty of hot water, a good shower and a good heating system; and the lounge/ dining area is a good shape and well equipped. The cottage is very well kept and clean; there is plenty of literature for visitors; and Pete and Christine (and their dogs ) could not have been kinder, unfailingly and unobtrusively helpful.

Fabulous stay
We have really enjoyed a wonderful 2 week stay in this quaint cottage. The cottage is ideal for 2 people and had everything that we needed. We loved waking up to the beautiful view of the sea from the bedroom window, it was a real joy. The garden was delightful to sit in and relax. We enjoyed having our meals at the garden table , looking out over the fantastic views of the harbour, island and Mounts Bay. We could spend all day just sitting there, enjoying the wonderful views and reading our books. An added bonus with the accommodation is having plenty of space to park the car, you do not usually get this in Mousehole. It was a short walk to the harbour, where we enjoyed watching the boats, people in the water and the fish and chips. David and Christine were brilliant hosts, and nothing was too much trouble, and they have excellent local knowledge which was very helpful. This is a wonderful place for having a calm and relaxing holiday, we really loved it. We would recommend the Minack Theatre, which is close by. Thank you David and Christine. Alan and Elaine

Tiny Cottage in Stunning Location
This small cottage is situated on the very steep Ragginis Hill, set back above the road in a garden full of flowers. As the weather was mainly good , we had breakfast outside every day, a real treat and so relaxing. Once we had found where everything was,we settled in very quickly and nothing was lacking:cutlery, crockery utensils etc.It was warm, with a very effective shower; heating when needed; two televisions; a comfortable bed with effective lighting for reading and plenty of drawers and a wardrobe. The two-seater settee was a bit too cosy so we utilised one of the capacious canvas chairs from under the bed, ideal. We ate out on three occasions, twice at 2 Fore Sreet, excellent and also at The Old Coastguard Hotel,O.K.too with a lovely beer garden overlooking the bay.On the othe days we used the oven to cook ready meals purchased in Penzance as we didn’t want to risk fry-ups in such a small area, an excuse not to cook! A tremendous plus was the parking spot across the road, a very rare amenity in Mousehole and much appreciated. The cottage was spotless and David a friendly and helpful host. We’ll always remember this happy week though with both of us just in our eighties walking up the hill from the village was a challenge.

Property review
The property is in a fantastic location and ower is very helpful. I think the website for the property should include some pictures of the kitchenette and explain that you cannot use all the functions on the table top cooker at the same time as the electrics will trip. You only find this out when you arrive from a notice on the wall. Apart from this we enjoyed are stay here.

Lovely views/good for parking
Property was small but cosy and clean. Owners very friendly and happy to provide suggestions for places to eat. Due to ongoing restrictions not everywhere open for eating. Good base for travelling to Lands End, Newquay, st Ives, st michaels mount. Lovely spot for a relaxing break. Parking space was an absolute bonus.
