"A delightful 6-night stay in this very comfortable gîte. Very well equipped accommodation with lovely touches everywhere. The accommodation was beautifully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. Close enough to St Emilion to be convenient yet far enough away to be quiet. The mosquitoes were a pest, however, so go armed with antidotes if you need them! We would certainly return. The Leclerc supermarket was very convenient."

"We stayed at the end of July for 12 nights with our 9 year old son. The house is set up with everything you need for a holiday away from home with a wonderfully stocked kitchen. The fantastic owners met us and left a beautiful basket of vegetables from their garden which we enjoyed so much. They also left some gorgeous wine from their estate. There are 3 bedrooms which are a great size although we only needed 2 it meant we had so much space. There is a large lounge area and dining area to seat...

"Perfect getaway. Beautiful location. Peaceful. House had all you need. Air Con was brilliant when weather was so hot. Plus the lovely pool to dip in and out of. Creon was a short drive which had a Carrefour supermarket bars and cafe’s. Local restaurant just round the corner from house was lovely. "This is a beautiful traditional style French house of the region. It is a bit rustic in places, but absolutely packed with charm and character. The location is amazing - what you see in the photos is exactly how it is. The river is a 60-second walk away with easy access in and out of the water. The village is pretty, quiet and within 10 minutes drive of a E.Leclere supermarket and the main road. The house is spacious, has bags of character, has a fabulous outdoor space with chairs, sun-loungers...

"Cette maison est un parfait mélange de luxe et de rusticité. Des prestations haut de gamme dans le salon, mais pas de poignée à la porte de la chambre, ou des salles de bains un peu passées, mais c'est ce contraste qui la rend incroyable. On sent que c'est une maison familiale, qui permet de se retrouver ensemble autour du billard ou de la piscine, des grandes tables pour les jeux de société au milieu de la nature et des animaux. "Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits à l’occasion du week-end de l’ascension dans les 2 gîtes permettant d’accueillir les 12 personnes. Propreté, équipements, cadre extérieur, confort, literie … tout était parfait ! Le gîte est dans une impasse très calme à 20 min de Saint Emilion. Nous avons pu dîner à l’extérieur et de la piscine (un peu trop fraîche pour la saison). Très belle rénovation de cette belle demeure en bénéficiant de tout le confort ! Une petite suggestion : un microonde serait apprécié !...

The bedrooms upstairs were a bit hot but the weather was unusually hot for the time of year. It might be a good idea to invest in some air conditioning units for times when it is unbearable. We were very happy with our stay and Nadine was an excellent host."

"Somos una familia de 8, de paso hacia valle del Loira. Fuimos muy bien acogidos por Joël y su mujer, que hablaba español. La casa está recién remodelada con algunos detalles por finalizar (la puerta del aseo). Los cuartos eran grandes y los detalles estaban muy cuidados, con ambientadores y multiplicador de enchufes. La escalera es empinada. La cocina estaba completa y la mesa del comedor era grande, cabíamos los 8 sin problema. Hemos disfrutado mucho de la noche. Los dueños nos recomendaron ir...

"Very clean pleasant gite offering a spot opposite it to rest. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. Very good holidays week. The owner is very cheerful. "

The garden is huge and beautiful with secure fencing allowing our dog to safely explore. Marie is welcoming and friendly, the perfect host. The house is lovely and very well equipped. The location is remote and peaceful but an easy drive to the next village for groceries and 2 bakeries."
