The Finca Convent, very quiet on the edge of the village of Petra, is the perfect place to relax.
That in 2014, completely renovated, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is located in a closed gallery, with en suite bathroom. One can only arrive outside this closed gallery.
The living / dining area with open, typical mallorkischer kitchen, has been decorated with lots of love. The open fireplace in the living room invites you to cozy evenings! Now the finca has internet throughout the house.
Around the house you will find 80sqm terrace, with dining table and barbecue.
The private pool has the mass 8mx4mx1,70m.

Great Finca, close to the historic, rural and wine growing town of Petra
Booked as a last minute break for my elderly folks, this Finca was an ideal spot. Very cosy, peaceful, great pool, veranda and just down the road from the sleepy but historic market town of Petra. Two bedrooms and bathrooms - all very clean. They had wonderful time exploring by car (the beaches are not too far away as long as you have your own transport). They also loved the wonderful restaurants in Petra's square (apparently the town is a bit of a gastronomic gem) and tasting some high quality wines that are produced in the town's local vineyards. If you like a rural escape/history, they said it felt like you were seeing a bit of hidden Mallorca.

Such a peaceful and relaxing holiday
We stayed here for 9 nights with our two teenage children. We really enjoyed our stay - the property is very pretty and the pool is beautiful - it was such a peaceful place to spend a day around the pool or to return to after a day of sightseeing. The outdoor furniture was good - we were able to move it around easily to fit with how the sun moved around during the day - the terrace roof keeps you in the shade until mid/late afternoon so it was a good spot for having lunch under. It was really hot when we stayed (mid 30s during the day and down to about 25 degrees when sleeping - because there is no air con, it was pretty hard to sleep at night but I think it was hotter than normal for the end of August. In the evening though, it was great to sit with a glass of wine looking out at the view - the church on top of the hill is light up at night time, and the only sound you an hear is the clank of the goat bells and the occasional bark from a dog. The photos of the outside don't really do the place justice - the landscaping is much more established than the photos show - rather than bare earth on the far side of the pool (looking out from the finca), it is now nicely landscaped with flower bushes, trees and greenery - much nicer to look out on than we expected it to be. We've had a lovely break - thank you!

Nette Finca, ruhige Lage, freundliche Vermieterin
Der Checkin wurde netterweise auf 12 Uhr vorverlegt, vielen Dank nochmals dafür :-) Der Empfang durch die Vermieterin und ihre Tochter war sehr herzlich. Es wurde auch gleich zugestimmt, dass wir am Abreisetag bis 15 Uhr bleiben dürfen. Zusätzlich bekamen wir eine große halbe Melone und eine Flasche kaltes Wasser geschenkt. Auf den ersten Blick war alles wie auf den Fotos, nach und nach wurden jedoch ein paar Sachen deutlich, die verbessert oder vorher angemerkt werden könnten: Da es keine Klimaanlage gibt, war es nachts unerträglich heiß. Es gibt auch keine Ventilatoren. Fenster offen bedeutete immer eine Mückenplage (verstärkt durch die Kiefern rund ums Haus). Mücken kommen übrigens auch durch den Kamin - wir haben ihn mit einem Laken abgehängt. Auch tagsüber ist es im Haus nicht wirklich kühl. Im Außenbereich steht 1 Sonnenschirm zur Verfügung, der max. 2 Personen schützt (ab frühen Nachmittag liegt die Terrasse komplett in der Sonne). In der Scheune ggü. befindet sich eine Taubenzucht. Die Vögel kommen zum trinken/baden in den Pool und lassen natürlich auch mal etwas fallen. Hatten wir kein Problem mit, muss man aber mögen. Für die Gartenmöbel gibt es keine Auflagen, lediglich 4 alte dicke Sitzkissen, die aber nirgends wirklich passen. Die Möbel sind teilweise nicht mehr ganz heil. Auf dem Grundstück stehen 2 Grills, beide in katastrophalem Zustand, leider waren sie nicht zu nutzen. Im Haus fehlt Stauraum für die Kleidung. Im Schlafzimmer unten steht ein Kleiderschrank mit 9 Bügeln (davon 5 Hosen-,1 Kinderbügel). Die Schränke im Wohnzimmer sind voll mit "Krimskrams" und riechen unangenehm, also auch nicht zur Aufbewahrung geeignet. Das Bett ist mit 1,20 m zu klein für 2 Personen. Der Kühlschrank ist sehr schön groß mit separatem Gefrierfach, auch groß. Ab und an tritt Wasser aus. Wir haben daher immer ein Handtuch davor gelegt. Der Gasherd funktioniert einwandfrei, der Ofen war allerdings nicht sauber. Kaffeemaschine ist stark verkalkt, wir haben daher direkt über den Filter aufgegossen. Wasserkocher ist vorhanden. Über eine umfangreichere Ausstattung in der Küche (Mixer oder Schneebesen,Schüsseln oder Dosen, bessere Töpfe/Pfannen) hätten wir uns gefreut, da wir auf Selbstversorgung eingestellt waren. Mikrowelle, Toaster funktionieren ebenfalls einwandfrei. TV ging leider nicht, nur div. Radiosender. WLAN überall vorhanden und immer gut. Im Schlafzimmer oben fehlt ein Schrank. Fazit: nett, mit Luft nach oben (durch Kleinigkeiten zu ändern).

Schöne Aussicht
Ruhige Lage, schöner Blick, gemütliche Ausstattung. Wünschenswert wäre eine etwas umfangreichere Küchen-Ausstattung (es gab wenig Gläser/Besteck, es fehlten Weingläser und Spül-Utensilien). Das Bett im Erdgeschoß ist für 2 Erwachsene eher zu klein.

Eine sehr schöne Finca!!!!
Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Eine sehr schöne Finca !!!! Verbesserungsvorschlag : Oben fehlt ein Kleiderschrank und im unteren Schlafzimmer wäre ein größeres Bett schön.Fliegengitter an den Fenstern wären auch sinnvoll , da wir sehr viel Last mit Mücken hatten.
