An oasis in Phnom Penh

It was a wonderful stay and it was difficult to leave. The accommodations were comfortable, the staff were attentive and helpful. The breakfast which was included was quite tasty and the menu was extensive. I had both lunch and dinner in the restaurant during my visit and was very please with the food and the service. I had stayed at their property in Siemreap before and this place luved up to my expectations. When i return to Phnom Penh, i would not consider staying at any other property.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work in my room and I misplaced my headphones in the room. My app is saying they’re at the resort but cleaning staff hasn’t been able to locate them I guess…. A very nice pool though.

I LOVED my stay here. This is a GLBTQ friendly place, but that doesn't apply to me, but yet, they were wonderful. One day I got a massage and Khmer massages are fantastic. I ate delicious foods -- the Cambodian breakfasts and coffee are wonderful. The staff was attentive and helped with anything I needed, and always said hello to me. When I first arrived they brought me a cold towel and a drink and had me sit down. The pool is lovely with twinkling lights. The tuktuks come easily from the location and I adventured all about. They also have a mini bar fridge they stock with beers and water and sodas. So handy. I hope to return to their other location in Siam Reap and stay there as well. I definately recommend this place and will stay again if I am in town.

The moment you arrive you feel you are welcomed as family. Above all else it is the staff that is unique from any hotel I have ever visited. They are warm , eager to please, and will try to fulfill any of your needs. The establishment has a cozy feeling and the food options are great. This is the second time I stayed at the Rambutan and I was as pleased as the first time I was there. If you plan to visit Siem Reap, I recommend highly the Rambutan property there as well

Great stay.

Really appreciated the cold wet face towel and welcome drink during the speedy and flawless check-in. There's an ongoing building construction next door so there was dust and noise. Luckily, it was a weekend so that was greatly reduced, and only bothered me some. Otherwise, a relaxing stay with a nice room and good breakfast. Too bad i didn't get to enjoy the tub in the balcony because of the dust and construction workers across.

Destination Property

Multiple stays here over the years. While the property is only 3 or 4-star, the service is 5-star++. You are treated like a pasha by one and all. Several “nearby” restaurants serve delicious Khmer foods. They are worth searching out.
