I was upgraded to a suite unexpectedly, room was fantastic. Casino was typical smoky atmosphere. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would stay here again even without the upgrade. Very convenient location in Scottsdale.
Overall, this is a nice place to stay. There was a restaurant near by. Rooms are upgraded.
My friend and I had a great experience here. We were given complimentary water bottles at check in and an excellent recommendation for a place to eat. Our first night, which was a Friday, they served wine & snacks in the lobby. Later that evening, I received a text on my phone from the front desk ...
On my return the shuttle did not show up to pick me up. I took a taxi back to the hotel. I was reimbursed by the front desk. I stayed this night on return also but it was not as pleasant a stay as the first stay. The room was a very nice concept - Inn Suite, however the cleanliness left a lot to ...
Suites are a nice size. Very convenient to Grand Canyon University. Security staff very friendly.
My wife and i went on our anniversary and enjoyed it very much. I had booked a villa but got upgraded to a villa bilevel which was pretty nice didnt get to enjoy the pools but we are thinking of going back with our kids and enjoy all the pools
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pool was great, continuously had someone making sure there were fresh towel. Bed was super comfy and rooms were spacious. Flaw is the bathroom is super tiny but you can overlook that with everything else it has to offer. Loved the restaurant and staff there ...
It was a bit hard to find the entrance — Google Maps took me somewhere around the corner, in a veritable concrete maze of a college complex — but once I got there, it was perfect. Packed with free snacks, great room, so cheap. Would highly recommend to anyone passing theough the Phoenix area.
The hotel was in a very good location. Close to the Scottsdale Airpark and all the restaurants and shopping areas. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The WiFi and included shuttle service were perfect for my stay in the area. Good value for the price.
Food was too expensive. Room was pricey enough not sure why the food had to be triple the price of non resort restaurants
It was a great place no problems at all wonderful
Staff is great! Rooms and pool were amazing. Will definitely return!
Clean rooms, new, smoky casino, staff was friendly, price is a bit on the high side. Pool area was nice. Overall pleased.
Absolutely loved it.Beautiful location friendly staff.wouldlike to see the carpet replaced in room..quite dirty and detracted from the rest b of the experience...but overall very pleasant willgo again.
I've stayed at the San Carlos many times over the years for business and events in downtown Phoenix. It's a great location and a good value for the area. The Light Rail is just steps from the hotel to connect you easily to many places in Phoenix and beyond. It is a historic hotel, so if you are looking ...
Great price. Got way more than I expected for the price. Pleased overall.
After traveling for long hours on the road, the words, “free breakfast”, helps me to book a hotel. This stay was disappointing when all there was made available were two types of cereal and nothing else to eat. That really doesn’t do much for getting up early for or providing much for energy.
Excellent hotel facilities (pool, bar, restaurant, lobby lounge areas, outdoor common areas). Would recommend a room not on the ground floor as the 2-queen with patio we stayed in felt dark - the patio did not get much sun exposure. Room in general felt a bit dated compared to the photos. Otherwise ...
The location was ideal for my visit to Scottsdale.
It was good the a/c keep switching to heat and would get hot in the room no power button to turn on or off have to use the switch on cord to turn on and off
The hot water was running when we entered our room?? The room was fine, but the breakfast was mostly gone by 0730. Old style t.v. and lights.
