Welcome to The Not So Tiny Cottage, a lovingly restored 1930s bungalow nestled in the heart of the Gilbert Heritage District. Our cottage has been a favorite in the neighborhood for over six years—earning a reputation for comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality.

Step inside and experience a unique blend of vintage character and modern convenience. Original details and classic cottage vibes are complemented by high-end fixtures and updated appliances, making your stay better than ever. The bathroom features a spacious, beautiful shower and a one-of-a-kind vintage dresser converted into a sink console with plenty of storage. In the master bedroom, you’ll find a plush queen bed, another vintage dresser, and a wall-to-wall closet for all your things. Just outside, a private outdoor shower—added by popular demand—lets you soak up the Arizona sun, and our guests rave about it all summer long.

The flexible den/office space is perfect for remote work or dining, with a desk (and computer monitor) that easily converts to a table. Extra folding chairs are tucked away in the closet, and a twin daybed makes this space ideal for a third guest or friends traveling together.

Out front, our extra-large covered porch is a guest favorite for morning coffee or sunset wine. Dine al fresco under the vine-covered pergola, surrounded by lush landscaping that creates a true oasis in the heart of town. And yes, your furry friends are welcome—our huge, fenced yard is a paradise for dogs, complete with a doggy door for easy access.

Location is everything, and you won’t find a better spot. We’re just a three-minute stroll from Downtown Gilbert’s best restaurants, shops, and attractions. Very nice and great location

We enjoyed our stay,and hope to return next year. We felt at home. Our dog enjoyed having a fenced in yard to play in. We were completely satisfied with the accommodations.

perfect location

The cottage was perfect for my husband and me. We could easily walk to Gilbert and enjoyed breakfast and the wine bar there. We were located close to where our son and family live, so they could pick us up easily. The house was well supplied and the chocolates were a nice added bonus!

Gilbert cottage

My husband and myself had a lovely two week stay at the Gilbert cottage. It was perfect for the two of us and we really liked that we could walk easily to the Gilbert market and theatre and great restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Heritage District Walkable

My pup and myself enjoyed a long weekend close to the heritage district. The house is cozy and the yard was a good place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Anything you need is close by. The weather was great! Thank you!

Wonderful little cottage.

My wife and I booked this beautiful cottage to celebrate our 34th anniversary. This house served our needs very well. It is well stocked with the essentials and the "welcome book" had all of the pertinent information needed to work all of the TV's, Wi-fi, etc. The location is wonderful, and the price is right. All went very well.

Great little place!

Me and my husband loved our stay here. We enjoyed the privacy of the property and how close it was to downtown and the freeway! We would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to town.

We were able to get away for several days and really enjoyed using this cottage as our home base. Quiet, close to lots of delicious food, Hale Theatre, Farmers Market, etc. Will definitely stay here again the next time we come to town :)

Stayed for a month..very well equipped for longer term stays. My dog loved the fenced property. Mary has created a very cozy and comfortable home. She was very quick to respond to any correspondence. She also offers a nice discount for longer stays.

Best Stay Ever

I've stayed at many vacation rentals on many platforms. This cottage is by far the best place I've ever stayed. I only wish Mary & Philippe had more availability so I could stay longer. Immaculately clean, warm, welcoming, comfortable beyond belief and in a safe and walkable part of town. Mary & Philippe have thought of every single thing and made this lovely cottage truly feel like home. I can't say enough great things about this stay. I strongly encourage others to stay and experience this beautiful home.

Awesome spot in Gilbert!

Loved everything - the house is listed as the not so tiny house but it was plenty of space. My wife works from home and they have an awesome separate room/office that worked perfect. The Wi-Fi is really good and she never had any issue. The kitchen is a full sized kitchen and well equipped. The bedroom is perfectly good as well. The front yard is absolutely wonderful especially this time of year - we had our dog with us who is used to an apartment and she spent 95% of her time out there. The hosts were extremely quick to answer questions and could not have been nicer. And the best part is you are a few minutes walk to downtown Gilbert - which has a lot of restaurants and bars. We took our dog most every night to a new spot - could not have been more convenient. 100% recommend

RESTFUL STAY

It was so relaxing to go out every morning and sit and listen to the birds, watch the quiet, friendly neighborhood awaken as kids went to school, dogs went on walks, hummingbirds flew by to say hello. Inside the decor was charming and comfy and I had everything I needed. I felt safe and cozy my entire stay and I plan on coming back!
