"Location is not great - from restaurants and train. Shower blocked and repeatedly asked but to no avail. Bar is OK. Cannot use outdoor upstairs area after 8pm ish. Area is noisy and at times felt unsafe"

"Excellent location close to the train station. Only had one afternoon/evening to explore Bologna so wanted to stay close to the train station as we had to be on train next day. Also great location to walk into main area of Bologna. Front desk staff was very helpful. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we were offered a complimentary drink at the bar. The breakfast was very good with many different options, one of the best hotel breakfasts I have seen. Had many options for vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free. Rooms were nice and comfortable. We only had an issue with the shower and the half wall so did get a lot of water on the floor when in shower, guess we were supposed to "bath" and rinse??? Room has a safe, lots of lighting which many hotels do not, closets and drawers. Bathroom is large and has large counter area. I would definitely stay here again. There is a great cafe next door where we experienced the best cappuccino we have every had anywhere!!!"

"The hotel was very conveniently located on the same street as the train station and the main square, about halfway between them. The breakfast was good and offered a wide array of options. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. The lobby was attractive and in good order. In less prominent areas the carpet was threadbare and the wallpaper in our room needed attention. The utility was not affected, but some refurbishment was definitely in order."

"Not for travelers over 50! It's just not up to adult standards. It caters to the young. The rooms are like dormitories! Just warning you that you may encounter; no towels in your bathroom, (the toilet is on one side of the room and the shower is on the other side of the room), doorknobs falling off, no one to answer the phone when you call downstairs, etc. Oh, and they don't take cash anywhere in the hotel so you have to pay credit card fees when your next statement arrives. Book somewhere closer to the center of the city as it is a 30 minute walk or a $14 euro taxi from this hotel."
