"The entrance and location to the Hotel were both excellent, the entrance and communal areas look grand. However the room we had looked tired, the bathroom especially as the ceiling and tiling had lots of mould, flaking paint etc. ready for a revamp. The room was quiet and fairly comfortable, just needs a bit of tlc. Remove stained chair covers, the staff on reception were really friendly and helpful suggesting restaurants and places to see. We only had breakfast once as Vegetarians there wasn’t enough from the buffet for us to eat, fruit and yogurt was delicious but not worth the price when you can’t eat the other food on offer. I would stay again as location, friendly staff and lounge area were all fab also the price was good for a city hotel."

"We paid for an upgrade, but the aircon wasn't working so it was super hot. The staff were really helpful and refunded the upgrade, provided a free breakfast and a fan. Can't fault them as it was out of their control."

"A lovely little hotel in the busy University district of Bologna Our Saturday night stay was very noisy as the students partied the night away right outside our bedroom window!! The next three nights were quiet and fine. Our room (106) had a very small shower which was fine for myself and husband, but I imagine people who are not as petite as us would struggle to even get into it!!! The breakfast staff couldn’t have been more helpful or charming - nothing was too much trouble! Would definitely stay here again if I was to visit the city…"

"Lovely stay at Almarossa. The superior apartment was large and had all the necessary amenities. We found the “garden” bizarre as it was not open air. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a very convenient small supermarket so self catering would be an option. There were nearby reasonably priced restaurants. The walk to the main tourist attractions was flat and easy."
