Staff were lovely, very welcoming. Apartment was clean, well maintained and as advertised. Breakfast was lovely. Only issue for us was the need to taxis due to a lack of public transport and the walk into town wasn’t very easy. That being said we travelled with 2 children, 8 and 10

The best thing about this place is the view. Totally incomparable. The facilities themselves could use some TLC - they are making the transition from “gently used” and slightly dingy to rundown. Also, the rooms are infested with ants.

Excellent location in the heart of Taormina. Parking is very challenging in Taormina, so we ended up paying 40 euro per day for valet parking by hotel staff. It was expensive, but very convenient.

Hotel Metropole was a perfect location for our stay in Taormina. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the wait staff were amazing. The hotel room was spacious and clean with amazing views The infinity pool was a great way to relax in between and after our day of touring. We highly recommend staying at Hotel Metropole.
