“Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. “La Piccola Locanda is not a hotel, they don’t have a front desk. The owner sends an email before check in date explaining this “Albergo diffuso accomodation concept” meaning they can place you anywhere, the check in time are only from 11:00 - 2:45 and 6 -11:00 pm. The owner left me the keys on top of a barell, the entrance to the building was like a storage, no elevator, I dragged my suitcase 5 stair flights, and I was alone in the whole building, very scary! I ended up staying somewhereelse!”

“Das Haus war geräumig und wie beschrieben. Leider waren die 2 Einzelbetten aus ein Metallrost und einfache Matratze darauf, eher für Kinder gedacht. Wir hatten Pech dass es sehr kalt wurde für die Jahreszeit, vor allem nachts. Heizung/Klima sollte extra 20€ pro Nacht(!) kosten, was wir nicht einsehen dies zu bezahlen. Aufenthalt war in Ordnung, Vermieterin reagierte schnell auf Fragen.”
