(304 opiniones) We stayed at this hotel for a weekend and starting with the positives I have to say that the estate is beautiful. The installations and gardens are great and the food is really good. However, rooms were just OK. On our first night, we had to ask for a change of sheets because the ones in our bed were stained with blood. Our room was OK but unimpressive. The thing that really disappointed us was the service. After we checked out we realized that we had left behind a stuffed animal that was really important for my daughter. So we contacted the hotel to let them know and their answer was that they found it but they couldn't do anything to send it to us or arrange a delivery. We tried to persuade them to help us but it was useless. When we arrived to our next hotel (The Westin in Florence) we talked to the concierge there and he was amazing and arranged for a pickup in that same moment and my daughter's stuffed animal was with us in the next 24 hours before we left Italy. We were really disappointed by the response of Palazzo di Varignana and their unwillingness to help us when it was clearly a simple matter.
