“We have been to Stanthorpe yearly for the past 5 or 6 years at this time of year. We live on the Sunshine Coast and love that cool change in the weather in Stanthorpe. Starting a log fire and spending time with your partner...Wineries...Food...and the National Parks. We have stayed at numerous different places, but 31 The Rocks is the place to stay.... easily. At the foothills of Mount Marlay and walking distance to town...yet felt like we were isolated from others as it was such a quiet neighbourhood. “Lovely little cottage and very comfortable beds. Only 1 bedroom so would suit younger family unless you don’t mind sharing the space. Great base location as close to everything. We didn’t cook but had everything if you wanted to be self contained. Also great selection of games, books and DVD. No wifi so plan ahead with downloads if kids want to use iPads. Good opportunity to go device free.”
