The hotel is further from the centre of Prague but much cheaper and very nice.
The hotel is about a 40min walk from old town but there is a metro 5 mins away which is very easy to use - I used the app to buy tickets which also work on the trams.
There is also a Lidl by the station and a Tesco in the local shopping centre. Good places to eat - much cheaper than on the other side of the river. If you walk down to the river from the hotel - 20min max - there are some lovely bars down on the river bank. Turned out to be a good place to stay!

Loved this hotel. Stairs and all. The hotel has a lot of history and character. Loved the feel of the hotel and staff. On room was amazing. Large, two bathrooms and a living room. It was super quiet.

We have excepted much more from the food though, using frozen vegetable in meals, meals which should be served as hot was almost cold, instant taste in meals, etc... We had the same poor experience with food at hotel Konsel. ..."
