“My son and I stayed at the beautiful Tracy sur Mer in Bayeux France recently. It's illustration as a charming little gite describes it perfectly. The cottage was so cute and cozy. It offered two bedrooms which was perfect for us. The property was lush and well kept with a lovely little garden in the back to relax after a full day. Our host Christine was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgeable and helpful with terrific ideas about what to do in Normandy.Our French is very weak but she……

“Beautiful house in a stunning location. Close to all the D day landing beaches and museums and the Bayeux tapestry. Port en Bessin is a lovely town with some great restaurants and shops within minutes walking from the house. Parking was no problem and we even managed to get our large car into the garage, just. “We had such wonderful stay here- there where 5of us and everyone had something that suited them. On arrival the host was extremely pleasant and whilst there was a language barrier we all managed to understand each other and she has leaflets to help. The ‘cottage’ itself was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a cosy rustic vibe that immediately had everyone starting to relax into the holiday. The space was well kept and clean. “The kitchen had more cooking equipment, crockery and utensils than I'm used to seeing in a holiday home. The grounds were lovely, and the location was perfect for walking or driving to the beach every day. The hosts were charming and we felt our dog was very welcome in the house and grounds (often not the case in UK rentals). ”

“Die Presbytère Normand ist ein wunderschönes altes Anwesen mit großer Ausstrahlung und noch größerem Obstgarten. Es wurde erkennbar vor einiger Zeit restauriert und renoviert, ohne den Charme des Gemäuers zu verletzen. Das Haus kann 13 Menschen gut beherbergen, dann muss man sich über die Nutzung der beiden Bäder abstimmen.Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche dort. Xavier ist ein aufmerksamer und kommunikativer Gastgeber, der stets per Mail erreichbar ist. Das einzige, was wir ein wenig vermisst……
