Typical cottage in Normandy Campaign

Old bread oven with studs set in an orchard. Quiet area with shops nearby, an hour of the Normandy coast, Honfleur or Rouen. The Bernay train station (12 minutes) you can reach Paris in about 1:20. Bernay has been classified 'Town of Art and History' with its beautiful half-timbered houses and its church. The owner can advise on hiking trails in the area and various tourist attractions (the Bec Hellouin, the Harcourt castles, valley of the Seine ....).

Great Normandy Location

The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. The apple juice left for us was very welcome and the use of the BBQ was excellent as we had such good weather. The gite is well equipped (apart from BBQ utensils) and very clean. We would highly recommend and the owners are at hand for any queries you may have. Thank you for making our stay so nice.

Wunderschönes Haus in der Normandie

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. In dem liebevoll eingerichteten Haus fehlte es an nichts. Die Vermieter sind sehr fürsorglich und sehr gastfreundlich.

Gîte fonctionnel, frais par les fortes chaleurs, au calme. Isolé mais idéal pour qui cherche à l'être. Menneval et Bernay pas loin avec toutes les commodités. Beaux petits villages à visiter. Honfleur à une petite heure de route magnifique. Jardin clôturé pour nos toutous 😄. Propriétaires proches une petite centaine de mètres mais discrets et charmants et séparés par une haie. Table de ping pong à l'ombre. Tout était parfait
