"Buffet food was the best. All areas in the hotel and outside was very clean. All of the team members were friendly and helpful. Shows were wonderful. We had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately, the ocean had lots of sea weed. If you are a serious swimmer that might not be so good for you, otherwise it's wonderful. The beach gets cleaned every morning, but the sea weed returns by the evening. There are different activities throughout the day. Every evening there are different shows. Lots of entertainment. Playa Del Carmen is in the walking distance. Very pleasant walk, just make sure you grab water, sunglasses and hat. Lots of shops and things to look at."

"Overall the stay was good. The property is a little dated but ok for us. The entertainment setup was good nightly with multiple shows. The staff was friendly and helpful. One oddity is If you need more water, beer, pop in the room before the next day, they charge you. Luckily the bellhop told us when he walked us to the room so we didn’t get surprised. The room service wasn’t convenient and the menu was not great."

"The hotel is ok, but it is being remodeled and lots of area are closed. Staff is not always friendly and in the buffets, bell boys and drivers (Bernabe) who drive the trains are sometimes rude and will ignore those from Latin America or Mexico. There are exceptions like Russel in the Vaqueria who was exceptional, especially with our children. Th resort has lots of pools which makes it like there are not a lot of people which is good. Consider there is hardly any shade and people reserve them very early. In general it is ok, but definitely the lack of friendly staff is off putting. Not sure if we would come back, maybe when all of it is open. "
