“This is my absolute favorite resort. Everything was wonderful, as always. The buffets and restaurants were magnificent—everything was exquisite and delicious. The staff was excellent—very friendly and always ready to help. My room was cleaned daily (thanks for the fresh linens, too), and the beach was superb. “We chose Barceló Palace to celebrate my big birthday & anniversary, but this trip fell far short for the price we paid. The property is beautiful, but the service was extremely disappointing. “This is the worst 5-star all-inclusive experience our family had during christmas. We did not have hot shower for three nights and the room has been freezing cold. We informed the hotel the first night and they kept sending maintenance people without fixing it. And whats worse, they did not really care about our problems.
