"We again had the pleasure of staying here at our latest Lake Gaston visit. The house has been well maintained since our visit a couple of years ago and we again had a wonderful time. We enjoy spending time on the lake and bringing our boat. In the evenings watching movies with the family or sitting out on the screend in deck and talking about the adventures of the day and plans for tomorrow. We look forward to our next visit."

"Had an amazing stay at Marc’s lake house on Lake Gaston. The home is even more beautiful in person and was extremely clean. We loved the amount of linens that were provided (including beach towels) and how stocked the kitchen was. Anything you could think of, Marc has you covered! "House has potential but found entire property to be dated, tired, and worn down. The dock was dangerous, numerous nails sticking out of deck board. Bummer upper deck of dock had to be closed off. There were 14 people in our group and there was only one refrigerator. We place half our food and drinks in large yeti coolers the entire time. “Queen” size beds were smaller than modern day queen beds. The hand on the over was duct taped and kept breaking. "This waterfront home on Lake Gaston has plenty of room. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with good cookware, plates and utensils. The property is well-kept and the neighborhood is quiet. Bob, the property manager, is very responsive and we enjoyed working with him. There are a few minor places for improvement. It seemed like the home had been cleaned after the last stay but that may have been awhile before we checked in - there was a film of dust on many surfaces and small dead worms...

"We enjoyed the home and property very much. We used the water toys a few days, even in October. The firepit was part of our evening routine and the garage play room was perfect for days too cold for water play. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and lacked for nothing! I do wish we had brought a dish towel and dish cloth in addition to the towel and sponge provided."

"We celebrated my husband’s 70th. Birthday. My three sons, two daughter in laws, 6 grandchildren, my husband, and me enjoyed a wonderful celebration of his 70 years. We had a small party. We enjoyed a walk to the lake. We all played games and table tennis. They had a variety of games to choose from. The house was very clean and spacious. It accommodated all 13 of us comfortably. Overall,we had a great time making memories that will last a lifetime."

"Home was very nice & had lots of ammenities & beautiful view. Overall on a high level it was clean but could use a bit more attention to the details. There were hairs on the bathroom floor when we arrived. The coffeemaker had coffee ground in it that were covered in green mold. Evidently the cleaning person forgot to empty the grounds & clean the coffee maker. The Dishes were not real clean. Had to rewash coffee cups. Otherwise, the cleanliness was okay."
