"The toilet seat had urine stains when we first checked in and only God knows how long its been there. The kitchen lacked clean surfaces as did the floor of the entire room when we first got there. Housekeeping was done only on the third day (which we were told was apparently the norm) and greasiness of the floor did improve after the cleaning. "If you’re looking to escape the party crowds on Zakynthos this is a perfect retreat. Beautiful and thoughtful villas spread out privately. I really enjoyed my time here. There’s a beach a short walk away, a wonderful seafront taverna and several others just up the road. Maria provided excellent instructions with great tips for the week. "The view from the balcony is stunning to watch the sunrise and the sunset. It is perfectly located between 2 beaches (10 min walk either way) and close enough to wander in to town if you like the tourist things. The owners were so helpful and brought us fresh fruit, veg and eggs regularly, that they grow in the gardens surrounding the property. We’re we’re a family of 4 and there was plenty of space to relax and chill."

"The overall stay was enjoyable but the villa was advertised as 'luxury' and we feel this isn't quite the case. The area in which the villa is situated is lovely, secluded and quiet but within the villa its self the kitchen is under equipped with the bare minimum utensils, pots, pans etc. There were no 'pantry' items at all tea, coffee, salt, herbs, etc The patio furniture was very old and cushion covers were ripped. There was definately a problem with ants in the villa especially in the upstairs...

"The Villa is lovely and right next to the sea with a picturesque window towards the sea. The accommodation is very comfortable with everything a family could need. The pool is wonderful. A little chilly in mid-October, when we visited but it didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the kids. There is an excellent bakery (Mylonas) steps from the villa, which will cater for breakfast and lunch items. Small supermarkets too. Restaurants are a small stroll away.
