"As my wife put it, this place was a perfect mix of things she likes (especially a dark bedroom) and I like (especially the skylight bedroom). Beyond the bedrooms we both enjoyed the spacious common areas, the rooftop patio, the hot tub, everything was perfect. Also appreciated an early check-in when some of our activities that day were cut short by the air quality! Hope to stay again when we're back in the area. "

"It was a last minute hotel stay on our trip. Rate was great for summer time stay. Had a nice game room, bikes and kayaks for us to use if we wanted to. Big living room area ( what I would call it) with TV, a kitchen area to use to make your own food. A fire pit, all s'more stuff in a cabinet to use as well. Lake down the hill to go fishing or kayaking. In the winter, big ski slope. Nice deck that goes along the back side with plenty of seating and great view. Met the owner when we were getting ready to leave. Very nice and talked to him for a while. Would go back if in the area and stay a couple days! Nice and quiet! The outside looks like something you would see in Switzerland area. "

"Very responsive host. Spacious cabin. Well-equipped kitchen. Good beds. Excellent laundry. Quiet lake with plenty of little watercraft for the kids. Fire ring for the obligatory s'mores.Electric switches hard to puzzle out and never did figure out how to turn off living room. Found no supply of TP. "

"Bed and pillows were great. Breakfast was good. Does get a bit noisy with traffic and when car alarms go off. Very easy to find and close to lots of things to do."

"Beautiful property! Was nicely tucked back in a secluded area with a beautiful yard. It had a nice firepit and chairs and even stocked with wood for fires. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were also convenient. The sauna looked interesting too we were just a little too busy to use it. Kitchen was stocked and convenient. We enjoyed the Norwegian spruce in the front yard also would recommend!"

"This is so close to the Michigan info center so it was easy to get info for our trip! The staff were friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for a clean and cute mom and pop motel this one is great! "

"Cute vintage place had everything we needed and then some during our extended weekend we went to 13 waterfalls 2 beaches 2 lighthouses 1 casino all withing a few minutes or a couple hours from there!!! One complaint maybe a new toaster .... maybe otherwise highly recommend will come back !!!!"

"We had a fantastic stay! Cabin is very nice and spacious, in great shape, has all the things you might need if you forget anything at home. Nice quiet setting, and we slept amazingly on those 2 queen beds! Overall, I'd say it was larger than I expected from the pics, and also the things that weren't pictured were better than we expected. The lake is a short walk and has great fishing. We only fished there for a little while because we were off doing other things, but still caught 15 fish! (My 13 year old son caught 10 of those, I have to admit). Would be perfect for ski season if I still skied. HIGHLY recommended!"

"This was a yearly vacation. The house was very nice. Decorated really well. There could have been more towels, but we did wash a load. Any problems we had were quickly resolved. Came for golf and fishing. Had 1 day of rain so went shopping. Restaurants were all friendly. "
