"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

Peaceful Mountain Cottage, Deck with Gazebo

Peaceful Mountain Cottage, Deck with Gazebo

8/10 Good
"Host was very quick and helpful at each request. Cabin is small but ideal for a couple or 4 people. WiFi is great however the TV is a little to be desired. However being in a remote cabin the tv is understandable Great location for exploring surrounding Blue Ridge area."
