Classic Shack - Absolute Beachfront. Winter off peak special!

CLASSIC SHACK is a comfortable and neat 2 bedroom holiday shack, absolute beachfront and accommodates up to 6 guests. Just metres from the beach, surrounded by lawn with reserve next door for uninterrupted views.

Kitchen that overlooks the bay, electric stove, large 2 door fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, rice cooker, sandwich press.
Open plan dining and lounge area with TV, split system reverse cycle air-conditioner.

Ceiling fans in both bedrooms, small bathroom with shower and basin, separate w/c. Laundry with top loading washing machine and sink.

Undercover deck with outdoor setting and gas BBQ, sit relax and enjoy the views!

Walking path in front - walk to jetty one way, and Flaherty's Beach the other way. Stroll to the new nature playground.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen, bed 2 - double plus bunk.

Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels

Pt Turton has a Tavern, general store with general groceries, bait, ice, fuel, delicious baked pastries and take away food.

No smoking inside

NO PETS - this includes visiting pets, any pets sighted at property will result in loss of bond

*WINTER OFF PEAK SPECIAL - JUNE, JULY & AUGUST * excludes long weekends and school holidays
15% discount on Winter off peak nightly tariff for bookings 4 nights or more

Nightly tariffs - cleaning, booking and refundable bond fees apply

Peak - 24th Dec to end of Jan school holidays and Easter: 4night minimum stay
$200 per night
High - all other school holidays plus long weekends: 3 night minimum stay
$160 per night
Off Peak - school terms: 2 night minimum stay
$145 per night

Winter off peak specials will be adjusted manually by office staff when your booking is processed

Stunning location and outlooks

Magnificent views, great location, and cozy lodgings. Great location for exploring surrounding coastline and sights. Nearby beaches are superb. Quiet setting, very peaceful, and great shack. Well worth a visit!

Awesome view, right on water, kids crabs & fishing from deck. Decent BBQ. Extras included.Whiting at tavern w ocean view. Close drive on beach Flahretys- safe shallows- amazing morning. Stingrays at jetty & squids. Takeaway & fresh bread general store Our best beach shak stay yet ( no wind & plenty of shade) easy walk nature playground/ bike track esplanade

Comfortable Shack with beautiful Beachfront View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we have stayed at 'Classic Shack' in the last 3 years. So beautiful to wake up to the sun rising over the ocean in the morning and choosing to sit and watch from inside or walk 30 seconds out onto the beach. Facilities are fairly basic but good and clean and met all we needed. The place is a little cold at night but there is airconditioning (we didnt use) & blankets (The bed is comfortable & has a warm quilt). It would be helpful to have a microwave (for heating heat packs) however bringing hot waterbottles satisfied that need. It is a 10-15min walk to the jetty & pub. Pub was great (remember to book). We would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: As usual, we totally enjoy this place and its location.On this occasion though, we were disappointed with how clean the place was when we arrived. The front decking wasn't as clean as normal, along with inside. It looked that no sweeping was done at all prior to our arrival. Once again, the gas bottle was empty and when we went to use the oven, we found it has one setting and no other (just 200 degrees).My rant though, has little point, as we will always head back to this little classic of a place.

A little slice of paradise

Simple accomodation right on the beach (mostly rocky, lots to explore) with only a path in front. It was warm enough with the split system (maybe a little chilly in the bathroom), and had most things we needed inc oil, salt etc. The bathroom sink is tiny but we just used the kitchen sink to wash in. Could do with another wine glass and an extra saucepan (as there are only 1 of each).There is a small store with essentials a short walk away, a pub about 20 mins walk away and an IGA a 20 min drive away. We loved the peace and tranquility, sitting on the deck is magical, it was a perfect escape for us (family of 4 with 2 teens) and we will be back!
