Great place to stay! Very clean, cultural in design, helpful staff, and nice breakfast in the morning (10 euros each person per day). The only down side I would say is that you cannot bring outside food or drink because they would have to separate everything out for disposal- from my understanding. It is a bit of a walk to the center plaza, but well worth the views!

The check-in process was completely lacking. I stood outside for over an hour emailing calling and trying to get lit in the door. It says the front office is open, but you have to know how to get in the door. Apparently you have to use the keypad and click on one of the options that was available. But nowhere was that in the directions and the phone number to call the reception area was not taking phone calls and no one ever responded to my emails so I spent almost 2 hours standing outside until other people came along and let me in. Absolutely ridiculous!

Isolated location, No public transportation nearby. Restaurant - no one spoke English, but the food was good. Their site indicates they provide a shuttle to the airport. Not true. 2 hotel vans on property "courtesy van" but no one would take us. Had to hire their "recommended shuttle that they partner with". Driver demanded cash - which we had none when we were dropped at the airport, yet could take a card deposit when we made the reservation. Driver dropped our bag which had a special crystal glass we bought in Murano and it shattered. Didn't even apologize. 100% residential neighborhood - nothing around. Only 1 pizza place down very steep slope. Clean, On their site they show "happy hour" on their rooftop. Non-existent. From the condition, no one has been up there in a long time. Site said they had in-room massages. Non-existent. False advertising all around.

This stay was really about the convenience of being close to the airport, which was about a 10–15 minute walk away. Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not feel safe or clean and looked very different from the photos online. The shower would not drain properly, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, and both the hallways and entryway had an unpleasant smell. Overall, the property felt poorly maintained. The staff were kind and helpful, which I appreciated, but I would not go out of my way to stay here again. If you can accommodate a little extra travel time to the airport, I would definitely recommend staying at a different hotel.
