Our stay with Hotel Bellevue exceeded all expectations!! The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave great beach and restaurant recommendations. Simple 15 min walk to the port+ amalfi city center, which made it the perfect location to tour the coast. Would 100% book again! Views were excellent from our sea view room, also very clean and all the staff were very kind!

The check-in process was completely lacking. I stood outside for over an hour emailing calling and trying to get lit in the door. It says the front office is open, but you have to know how to get in the door. Apparently you have to use the keypad and click on one of the options that was available. But nowhere was that in the directions and the phone number to call the reception area was not taking phone calls and no one ever responded to my emails so I spent almost 2 hours standing outside until other people came along and let me in. Absolutely ridiculous!

The best hotel ever staff food and the best staff

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient, right in the center of Positano and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Even though we didn’t spend much time in the room, the view was absolutely amazing and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel staff were also very helpful and friendly. They were happy to answer questions not only about the hotel and our room, but also about the surrounding area, which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. The only thing that concerned me was that when we tried to purchase water from the hotel, we were told that they only accepted cash and did not take cards. Since the majority of places we visited accepted both cash and card, this was a little unexpected and inconvenient. Overall, we had a great experience and really appreciated the location, beautiful view, and helpful staff.
